The 30th of April 2021 marks 100 years from Bulgaria's accession into the Paris Convention on the protection of industrial property. This was one of the few conditions in the treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine which has produced positive consequences for the country - it brought Bulgaria into the global IP protection system, and inspired Bulgaria's first law on the protection of patents. These developments have been instrumental for stimulating innovation and economic growth and we continue to see, to this day, Bulgarian entrepreneurs making use of the Paris convention and other international agreements to secure their rights overseas and succeed on the world stage. We remain at our clients' disposal to help them achieve their business goals both in Bulgaria and internationally. Contact us for expert advice in all areas of intellectual property.
